Burn The Floor promised to be an exciting, high-energy, high-intensity, passionate ballroom dance show - and it delivered.

The stars were definitely Kevin, Johannes Radebe and Graziano Di Prima.

Kevin, with his sweet and upbeat personality, spoke about his beginnings to ballroom dance; his inspirations like Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers and Robbie Williams. Kevin then sang and performed Robbie's Let Me Entertain you. In fact he sang throughout the show; who knew Kevin from Grimsby could sing!?

Johannes took the time to tell us about his origins in South Africa and thanked Burn the Floor for giving him the opportunity to live his dream as a dancer. Graziano shared the love story of how he met and proposed to his beautiful fellow dancer, Giada Lini.

Both Johannes and Graziano will be joining Kevin in the next season of Strictly, which brought another level of cheers and whistles.

There was a thrilling quickstep, passionate paso dobles and my favourite of the night - a powerful performance by Kevin, Graziano and Nancy Xu based on the opera, Carmen, where two men fight over a gypsy girl but between the two fighting men the victim is Carmen.

I was very happy to see that the cast was very diverse and included people of all walks of life - from the dancers to the singers and the band. The dancing was incredible, no-one on stage stopped until the very end.

The show was spectacular. Full of talent, colour and fire, igniting us all on our feet in a standing ovation.
