Theatre Deli on Eyre Street launched an appeal after the heating system broke down.

With the help of donations and the support of investment company Standard Aberdeen, the theatre installed two temporary heaters in the venue near Moorfoot.

A theatre statement said: “Unfortunately, the cost of temporary heaters, fuel, loss of earnings from cancelled bookings and astronomical electricity bills has come in at just under £5,000 which was money we wanted to invest into our Young Persons Programming Panel in January 2020.”

That allows teenagers to ask for shows to be put on that address the topics and themes which matter most to them.
