Sheffield Lyceum show The Nutcracker performed by St Petersburg Classic Ballet

This delightfully festive tale tells the story of Clara’s magical adventure with her Nutcracker Prince as she gets whisked away on a journey which includes the delicious Land of Sweets and the delightful Sugar Plum Fairy.

The timeless classic boasts baroque designs and is set to Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s glorious score – a perfect treat for the whole family.

Under the expert direction of Marina Medvetskaya, St Petersburg Classic Ballet combines classical training and technique with the best-loved Russian ballets. The performers are complemented by a full orchestra.

Saint Petersburg Classic Ballet’s The Nutcracker comes to the Lyceum Theatre, Sheffield from January 7-11.

Another company, the Russian State Ballet of Siberia, perform Swan Lake at Sheffield City Hall on March 15.
