Sheffield is getting a brand new city centre music festival - here's what we know so far

Underpass, announced today by Sheffield Students’ Union, is bringing top acts to the city including indie and pop heavyweights Spector and Fickle Friends.
On Saturday May 2 the four stages will showcase a variety of bands and acts, with a dedicated Tuesday club stage offering the best in underground dance music.

Hide AdWith more acts are to be revealed in the coming weeks, the line up so far includes Spector, Fickle Friends, Patawawa, The Covasettes,The Seamonsters, Two Weeks in Nashville, Andy H, LUNAR, Cargo and Gracie T.
The festival will also host comedy acts, an open mic stage and street food traders.
The first tier of tickets have gone on sale today at a bargain £15.
