Sheffield electronic musician Ruiz is inspired to create new work in lockdown

Sheffield electronic musician Ruiz has been making the most of his time in lockdown.

The performer, Hugh Ruiz, said: “It’s been a few years out of the Sheffield scene for me as I became a parent of beautiful twins four years ago.

"As a consequence of lockdown, I taught myself how to record, write, play and sing music all on my own, all of which I’d never done before.”
