Fish Pie is a surrealist character comedy show that showcases alternative acts that feature poetry, puppetry, theatre and music.

Captain Fishfingers trawls the oceans in search of cabaret talent, aided by his trusty cabin boy and crew.

They come across dancing fish, clairvoyant clams, surfer postmen, jazz lobsters and more.

However, the talent pools are dry and filled with plastic and there are rumours that a monster is eating cabaret performers.

The aim of show Dry Wit on November 19 is to show that you can have a laugh without a drink.

BAFTA winner Jo Caulfield, Phoenix Nights veteran Archie Kelly and musical comedian Christian Reilly all appear in the free show at Theatre Deli, Eyre Street.

Health promotion programme Drink Wise, Age Well has put the show together.
