Racoon Studios wants you to express your creativity in their cafe and exhibition space
Where communities come together
Racoon Studios is an inclusive arts space, where disabled and non-disabled artists and performers from different backgrounds and cultures, come together as one community to create and enjoy a range of arts.
Based on the Haymarket in Castle Market, this cafe and exhibition space promises to provide a space to work, socialise and relax that inspires passion, creativity and collaboration.
This area also includes a maker's shop selling items made by the Arts in the Right Place community. Arts in the Right Place exists to make creativity accessible to everyone and to create opportunities for people who might otherwise face barriers to taking part in arts and culture.

They are working hard to build a vibrant, inclusive creative hub in the city. They are always looking for new people to get involved with Arts in the Right Place. Whether that's attending events, volunteering, running workshops, collaborating on creative projects, becoming a member, or simply helping spread the word, we'd love to welcome more people into our community.
Racoon Studios are launching Curious Cabaret on Saturday August 29. It's the start of what they hope will become a regular night celebrating a wide range of performers, with different hosts bringing their own style and personality to each event.

In addition to this, they are also hosting the Castlegate Festival launch event on Saturday, September 12 which will include free art activities for both adults and kids during the day, followed by live music and DJs during the evening.
Alongside that, there is a lot happening at Raccoon Studios over the coming months.
They are supporting people who want to organise fundraising events for good causes, particularly projects led by people from under-represented communities or events that showcase emerging artists.
