The UK’s biggest celebration of Black music and culture is taking centre stage in Sheffield tonight for the first time in its 28-year history.
The 2024 MOBO Awards is taking place at the sold-out Utilita Arena, with nominees including Bugzy Malone, AntsLive and ENNY in attendance.

Hide AdStormzy and Little Simz are leading this year with four nominations each, closely followed by thrice-nominated artists Central Cee, J Hus, PinkPantheress and RAYE. Indiyah Polack, of Love Island fame, and comedian Babatúndé Aléshé are hosting.
MOBO (Music of Black Origin) Organisation has held a pivotal role in supporting the global growth of British black music, championing homegrown talent, and setting the standard across a range of genres.

Album of the Year - Real Back In Style, Potter Payper
Huge cheers erupted as Potter Payper was announced as the winner.
In his speech, he said happy birthday to his son, who was born in Sheffield two years ago today.

Sugababes have taken to the stage
The trio absolutely crushed it with a non-stop set of classics.

Best African Music Act - Asake
Asake thanked his family, fans, and MOBO on a video played in the arena.
Best Media Personality - ShxtsnGigs
Duo ShxtsnGigs, made up of best friends James Duncan and Dawodu, took the crown for Best Media Personality.

Cristale wows the crowd
Cristale was the third act to perform at Utilita Arena Sheffield tonight at the 26th edition of MOBO Awards.
MOBO Impact Award - Sugababes
This year saw two new honorary awards, MOBO Impact and MOBO Pioneer.
The first winner of MOBO Impact Award was handed over to the Sugababes, presented by girl band FLO.
