'Hilarious' Harry Potter comedy returns to Leadmill due to 'popular demand'
An improvised Harry Potter-themed comedy show will make its return to Sheffield with a performance at the Leadmill later this year.
Hit show Spontaneous Potter will be back to entertain fans of the boy wizard hungry for more stories set in the magical world of Hogwarts.
The show, on October 11 at the Leadmill, sees the improvised performance return due to ‘popular demand’, having gone down a storm with theatre-goers last year.
The play features an entirely improvised Harry Potter comedy plot, based on an audience suggestion of a fanfiction title.
Audiences pitch their ideas as an entirely new Potter adventure is improvised on the spot, with live musical accompaniment.
Previous titles performed include: ‘Harry Potter and the Chamber of Commerce’, ‘Harry Potter and the Neville Wears Prada’, ‘Harry Potter and the Rise of the Planet of the Snapes’ and ‘Harry Potter and the Struggle for a Decent Mortgage in This Economy’.
