The show takes place on Sunday, November 24 at 3pm in Sheffield City Hall.

The orchestra play Glenn Miller’s own arrangements of favourite wartime chart-toppers and hits from the 1940s including Moonlight Serenade, American Patrol, Tuxedo Junction, Little Brown Jug, Pennsylvania 6-5000, Chattanooga Choo Choo and In The Mood.

Special guests The Polka Dot Dolls will perform a tribute to The Andrews Sisters, with hits including Don’t Fence Me In, Bei Mir Bist Du Schoen and Begin The Beguine, and guest vocalists are Mark Porter and Catherine Sykes.

The orchestra will perform the second half of the concert in the World War Two uniforms of the US Army Air Force.
