The amazing USA based look and sound-a-like - billed as the most successful Elvis tribute artiste of all time - will be backed by an orchestra and original Elvis band members, The Sweet Inspirations.

They toured with the King as his backing vocalists from 1969 until his death in 1977.

The Elvis World Tour will stop off at Sheffield Arena on Saturday, November 5.

Klush first exploded onto the UK scene when six million viewers tuned in to see him crowned ‘The World's Greatest Elvis' live on BBC One.

Soon after, he was also crowned the first ever ‘Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Champion' in Memphis, Tennessee.

On the back of his success, Shawn embarked on an unprecedented world tour, performing to thousands of fans in theatres and arenas across the USA, South America, Europe and Australia.

Original Sweet Inspiartions band member Estelle Brown, 71, said:: “Shawn is the closest that anyone will ever get to him. I’m not saying he’s exactly Elvis, but he’s as close as anyone will ever get. We have a wonderful time working together.”

Of working with the King she said: “Elvis was indescribable. It was absolutely fantastic and he was the perfect gentleman. He was just a humble guy, a really wonderful person.

"We used to say ‘hey boss, hey boss’ but he’d say ‘I’m not your boss, I’m your brother’. That’s how he was; we became a family. Just as people loved Elvis, Elvis loved people. He was a real people person. That was his life."

Tickets - on general sale at from Friday, April 8 at 9am - are £49.50 VIP with meet and greet and £30.25 standard, including booking fee, when booked online at www.sheffieldarena.co.uk or through the ticket hotline on 0114 256 56 56. Tickets booked in person at the Arena box office are are priced £47.25 VIP with meet and greet, or £28.88 standard including booking fee.

The show is part of events celebrating Sheffield Arena's 25th anniversary year. It is the region’s largest indoor premier entertainment venue with a multi-purpose auditorium accommodating audiences from 3,000 to over 13,600.

Since 1991, the venue has hosted more than 3,000 local, regional, national and international events, from major concerts to comedy, sport to theatre, family shows to exhibitions and conferences.

The Arena was officially opened on May 30, 1991 by Her Majesty The Queen and, over the last 25 years, has welcomed 16 million people through its doors, bringing more than £500 million to the Sheffield economy.
