Cineworld Sheffield celebrates 25th birthday with silver screen classics and free popcorn

Movie-goers at the Valley Centertainment venue can step back in time with one-off screenings of 1998 classics Armageddon, Blade and There’s Something About Mary.
A range of special activities will also be taking place over the weekend – Saturday and Sunday, November 4 and 5.
A rodeo-style 4DX Chair Challenge, cosplayers, a DJ, face painting and balloon artists are planned.
And each customer also gets a free regular popcorn with every ticket on Saturday, November 4 – the big day itself.
The aim of the 4DX Chair Challenge is to balance a giant popcorn, keeping it upright for as long as possible, whilst up against the exhilarating movements of 4DX.
Once you’ve honed your skills on the chair, you will be ready to head to the 4DX screen, to catch some incredible films, which have been screened over the years, from 2004’s Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban to the new 2023 feature Trolls Band Together and
Cineworld Sheffield is marking the significant milestone to celebrate a quarter of a century of cinematic excellence in the city, say bosses.
