Chesterfield theatres present new season of 2020 shows

Chesterfield Theatres have announced their spring 2020 season, including the return of a popular series of plays.

Highlights at the Pomegranate Theatre include the Spring Play Season (January 21-February 15).

Presented by Rumpus Theatre Company and Tabs Productions, the season features thriller Wait Until Dark, comedy Time and Time Again, comedy thriller The 39 Steps and It’s a Wonderful Life.

Following the play each Thursday, join the cast in the bar for quizzes and games.

Other highlights include Alan Ayckbourn’s comedy Ten Times Table (March 9-14). TV and stage actor Robert Daws (The Royal, Outside Edge, Roger Roger) leads the cast.

Actor and former Blue Peter daredevil Peter Duncan stars in The Dame (February 23), a drama which brings a lost world of seaside entertainment to life.

Friends! The Musical Parody (March 4) lovingly lampoons the TV show.

Highlights at the Winding Wheel include Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (February 11-15), starring Britain’s Got Talent finalist Mark McMullan.
