Chesterfield pantomime features CBBC star Andrea Valls
Andrea Valls from CBeebies show Waffle the Wonder Dog is one of the stars of the Chesterfield pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk.
The star has been out and about in the town. She visited Mary Swanwick Primary School in Old Whittington where she discussed the history and customs of pantomime, getting the children and teachers to join in, and presented a special story-time session at Chesterfield Library.
Andrea, who plays Princess Jess in the panto, stars alongside Lee Latchford-Evans from popgroup Steps as Jack, comedian Paul Eastwood as Simon Trott, Simon Howe as Mrs Trott, Janine Pardo as Spirit of the Beans, Alexander Lee as Flesh Creep and Paul Giddings as The King.
