Chance of Oasis reunion at Liam Gallagher's Definitely Maybe tour set to begin in Sheffield

The odds of an Oasis reunion have been unveiled.

Ahead of Liam Gallagher’s opening gig in Sheffield for his Definitely Maybe tour on June 1, the odds of an Oasis reunion have been revealed.

In May 2023, Liam delighted Oasis fans when he announced he will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the band’s debut album Definitely Maybe by playing a handful of “biblical” venues.

While it is clearly a Liam tour, rather than an Oasis tour alongside his estranged brother Noel Gallagher, the news sparked hopeful speculation that a reunion might be on the cards, at long last.

So far, rumours of an Oasis comeback have been based on hope rather than expectation - but with the Definitely Maybe tour fast approaching, fuel has been added to the fire.

Blur frontman Damon Albarn told The Sun newspaper: “I can guarantee they’re going to reform. In fact, I’ve put money on it.”

The odds of a reunion this year are 1/3 according to Gambling.com, and 2/5 to take place in the upcoming tour.

At the Sheffield gig tomorrow (June 1) at Utilita Arena Sheffield, the chances are 5/1 - with the Arctic Monkeys 11/8 to guest star.

If a reunion is going to happen at a venue on this tour, then Sheffield is looking fairly likely, taking third place on the list behind London and, as expected, Manchester in the top spot.
