“He is probably best known for his iconic song about the legend of the Cat and Man Church at Barnburgh.

“We’re very pleased to welcome him to Raising the Rafters and are hoping for an excellent turnout to raise money for Bob’s choice of charity, Cancer Research UK.

“And Bob’s excellent music will be enhanced by Raising the Rafters’ usual array of talented support singers and musicians.”

The event takes place at the St James Rooms, Church Street, Wath. Doors open at 7.30pm for an 8pm start. Entrance will be £5 on the door.

The venue is unlicensed and visitors are encouraged to bring their own wine, beer and spirits.
