Splinters Theatre Group are preparing for their biggest challenge yet as they present the city premier of West End hit We Will Rock You, featuring the music of rock legends Queen.

DUE to the damage caused by the recent floods the Wickersley Operatic Society's rehearsals and auditions have had to be re-scheduled. Now that the Wickersley Village Hall is reopened the society can once again start to operate and introduction rehearsals for new show Spend, Spewnd, Spend will commence September 4, September 11 and September 13, with open auditions being held on September18 at 7.00pm, all at the Village Hall. FANS of old time music hall will be pleased to know that Alf Bailey of Bravo Productions is currently organising the next Magnificent Mixture of Music, Mirth and Magic. The company will be appearing at the Library Theatre Sheffield, Pavilion Gardens Buxton, Civic Theatre Rotherham and Lyric Theatre Dinnington next April.
