Art for half-term

YOUNGSTERS are invited to get creative during their half-term holiday by contributing to a giant piece of land art at Creswell Crags.

Artist Andrew Tebbs will be on hand to help out and inspire people with the work, charting the history of the spectacular landscape, near Worksop.

SHEFFIELD Care Trust has re-appointed its current chairman for another term. Alan Walker, aged 58, will serve on the board until next October.

Award

A TEAM of young offenders from Barnsley has won an award for an arts project aimed at helping others. The short film they produced with other young people won the team prize at the Just Creativity awards.
