Ale's well with that man Hawley

WITH his new album out this week Sheffield pub The Cricket Inn is renaming itself The Hawley Arms for the weekend.

Lady's Bridge is expected to chart in the top 10 having been flying off the shelves, so it is timely the boozer on Penny Lane, Totley should be serving four different Hawley Ale's on Sunday.

Part of a weekend beer festival, it'll be the first time Lady's Bridge Ale is available to the public. Brewed at the Thornbridge Brewery, the tipple is a classic English bitter with sweet caramel and toffee flavours. It has met with Hawley's approval.

"I've just started the Chet Atkins diet, fags and booze only," he says. "So this has come at a perfect time. Thornbridge have brewed a beauty."

Music comes from The Dizzy Club on Saturday, Nicola Farnon on Monday and maybe the man himself on Sunday.
