Last night’s episode of the Channel 4 show, focusing on the work of South Yorkshire Polce, tackled the issue of youth crime – including the story of a three strong teenage gang who were caught pushing a wheelie bin full of scrap metal along Wordsworth Avenue in Parson Cross.
The show revealed that a neighbour had spotted the trio inside the nearby Parson Cross Hotel, ripping fixtures and fittings, as well as wire and lead from the premises.

Hide AdCameras for the reality TV show captured the moment officers swooped on the gang in broad daylight last year, with the group claiming they were ‘scrapping’ – collecting scrap metal.
And on searching the trio, officers found drugs and a knife – and faced a volley of abuse from the gang, who were filmed calling one female officer a “little s***” and a “dirty b****.”
Pc Emily Goodwin told the cameras: “I recognised them. They are not just kids out scrapping, they are prolific, bang at it.”
But it was a different story when the trio were taken into custody, with one seen crying into his T-shirt and telling police: “Can I call my mum?”
The gang were detained on suspcion of burglary – but it was revealed at the end of the show that the gang were not charged with stealing the wheelie bin full of scrap.
