Will gets teeth into Piranha

WILL Coward's hat-trick for Wadsley Bridge H in Division Six of the Sheffield League moved him into sixth position in the leading scorers list as Wadsley recorded their first victory of the season, 9-1 over Piranha C. Josh Wellum also took a maximum and was supported by a brace from Richard Heald.

In Division Four, Dronfield’s Alistair Nunn blasted his way to a hat-trick and pole position in the leading scorers list, during an 8-2 victory at High Green B. Nunn received valuable backing from club secretary Phil Wright and new signing Gary Cooper who each took braces.

Vulcan M picked up their first point in a topsy-turvy draw at Hallam Grange C. The visitors trailed 5-2 until Paul Nicholson, Neil Holling and Phil Powell heightened their performance to share the points. Matt Hawker and Eckhart Lange teamed up to win the doubles for Hallam and also scored two each.
