Flores, who joined Spireites on a season long loan deal in August from the Latics, was injured in crash with a car on Baslow Road, Chesterfield, on Monday morning.

It is not clear at this stage how long Flores will be out for and whether he will need surgery.

He is currently receiving treatment at Sheffield’s Northern General Hospital, where he was visited by Power on Sunday morning.

Power tweeted: ‘Thinking of my mate @JordanFlores199 and all his family, going to need support off us all to get him through this difficult time.’
