Warnock new Palace manager

FORMER Sheffield United boss Warnock will be unveiled as the new Crystal Palace manager at a press conference tomorrow.

He will replace Peter Taylor, who was sacked as Eagles manager on Monday.

Warnock, who will reportedly become The Championship division's highest paid manager, has been out of the game since resigning as Blades manager at the end of last season.

The 58-year-old was left the Bramall Lane hotseat in May after they lost their fight to stay in the Premier League.

Rumours suggest he will bring in former Manchester City and Wolves defender Keith Curle, who had a spell in charge at Mansfield, as part of his backroom staff.

William Hill are already offering Evens that firey Warnock will be sent from the dugout once or more before the end of the current season and 8/11 that he will not (Bets are void if he does not become Palace boss).
