Titans out to sting Bees, again

ROTHERHAM Titans will kick off their National One season tomorrow by hoping to maintain an unbeaten record against the club they are facing, Pertemps Bees.

Titans head for the Midlands knowing they have never lost to the Birmingham side in their history.

New coach Phil Werahiko will give competitive debuts to 10 new signings and hands the captaincy to fly half Mike Whitehead who forms a new half-back pairing with Neil Chivers

Three key players missing from his side through injury are Barry Jacobsz, Errie Claassens and Sam Walsh but has handed starts to full-back Jamie Lennard, second row Dan Smith and 8-man Alex Dunlop.

"I expect the same standards from the debutants as I do from the guys that have played a couple of seasons in National One and there can't be any excuses from anybody," said Werahiko.
