Jonny Marray is re-united with old friends this week at the Power House Cup in Dusseldorf.

The Wimbledon doubles champion from Sheffield renews his partnership with Colin Fleming after the Scot recovered from injury. And the pair take on Germany duo Dustin Brown and Frank Moser in the first round, which is likely to take place on Tuesday.

Marray partnered Brown earlier in January at Qatar ExxonMobil Open where they reached the semi-final before losing to Julian Knowle and Filip Polasek.

Knowle of Austria and Polasek of Slovakia are the second seeds in Dusseldorf with Marray and Fleming as number one.

The tournament is an ATP 250 Series event with a first prize of 22,000 Euros for the winning pair and 250 ranking points.

Two of Marray’s other partners are also in the event. Denmark’s Fred Nielsen, who he played with to win Wimbledon last summer, is paired with Brazil’s Andre Sa.

Marray and Sa teamed-up twice this season at the Auckland Open in New Zealand and at the Australian Open in Melbourne.

Both events took place in January with Marray and Fleming’s first tournament together being the Open Sud de France in Montpellier in February.

Nielsen and Sa, seeded fourth, won their first round match yesterday against Richard Becker and Dominik Schulz 6-2 6-2.
