Sheffield’s Jonny Marray and doubles partner Colin Fleming will play Argentina’s Carlos Berlocq and Eduardo Schwank in the first round of the US Open at Flushing Meadows in New York this week.
Marray and Fleming have been seeded 12th for the final Grand Slam of the season and will be hoping to at least match their last 16 spot they achieved at Wimbledon.
Britain’s No 1 women’s player Laura Robson takes on Lourdes Dominguez Lino of Spain on Monday afternoon, around 4pm British time, while in the men’s draw British qualifier Dan Evans plays 11th seed Kei Nishikori of Japan.
Andy Murray will begin his defence of the title either on Tuesday or Wednesday.
