Sheffield’s Jonny Marray, who won the Wimbledon doubles title in 2012, will return to action at the Open Sud de France in Montpellier on February 3.

Marray and partner Paul Hanley have had a tough start to the season on the ATP World Tour with defeats in the first round of the two tournaments they have play.

However, in their first event of the year in Auckland they were drawn against Eric Butorac and Raven Klaasen who have since gone on to reach the Australian Open final in Melbourne.

And the pair who knocked Marray and Hanley out of the season’s first major were World No 1 and the dominant force in doubles tennis - Mike and Bob Bryan.
