Swift riding into form in Norway

BEN Swift continued his comeback from a dislocated shoulder with a confident ride during the second stage of the Tour of Norway.

Rotherham racer Swift, who rides for elite British squad Team Sky, had to withdraw from the Giro d’Italia after a fall during training earlier this month. However, after scans revealed no serious damage he was able to take his place on the start line.

Swift was part of Sky’s effort to get a win for Edvald Boasson Hagen on his country’s national day yesterday but the Norweigian could only finish fourth behind Holland’s Raymond Kreder at the finish of the 163km stage from Oslo to Drammen.
