Steelers climb table

STEELERS have moved into second spot in the Elite League table after Saturday's late, late win at arch rivals Nottingham Panthers.

They are two points behind champions Coventry Blaze, who have two games in hand.

Panthers have not beaten Steelers in the regular season since Boxing Day 2005, drawing one and losing 10 in that time.

An Ashley Tait double sealed the win for the Steelers with the decider coming with two minutes left on the clock.
