Three-time world champion Nick Matthew strolled into the semi-finals of the Canary Wharf Classic after a 3-0 victory over Egyptian Omar Mosaad.

Matthew, named the Professional Squash Association Player of the Year for 2013 earlier this week, faces Columbian Miguel Rodriguez in the semi-finals tonight. He said of his latest win: “Pleased to get through but a little annoyed with myself; I was 8-2 up in the third and let him get back to 8-8.”
