Spireites look to end the jinx

Have your say

Bristol has hardly been a happy hunting ground for Chesterfield over the years.

In 38 league visits to the south-west city, including Rovers’ spell in Bath, the Spireites have returned home with maximum points just twice, both against Bristol City, both games coming in 2005.

Mark McGhee’s Rovers have lost their last four games, including an FA Cup loss against Sheffield United, and have won just three times all season, so today looks like a decent opportunity for the Spireites to end their Pirates hoodoo.

Chesterfield have kept clean sheets in their last three away games in League Two.
