Peter Mole says Sheffield are heading in the right direction on and off the track ahead of tomorrow’s League Cup home clash with Newcastle (7.30).

The Tigers co-promoter says there is a feel-good factor about the club with decent results and increasing attendances. Victory against the Diamonds will go some way towards booking a place in the League Cup semi-finals. Said Mole: “Everything is good about the club right now, the team and the management are happy, plus we’re getting lots of good positive feedback from fans. “We couldn’t have asked for more from the lads the way they’ve started the season and we’re looking for more of the same against Newcastle tomorrow. We’re enjoying good weather which always puts people in a good mood for speedway and we’re hoping for a great summer. Newcastle will be tough, they will come here looking to take some points off us but let’s keep it going.”

Sheffield are expected to be unchanged from the side which beat Plymouth in their opening Premier League fixture last Thursday.
