SHEFFIELD skipper Richard Hall has signalled his intention to stay with the Tigers next year.
The Yorkshire racer has had a solid year with Tigers, upping his average to seven points per meeting and helping create an excellent team spirit. And Hall has made it clear he would like to be at Owlerton again in 2013.
He said: “I don’t know what will happen next year but I do want a contract with Sheffield. We’ve had a tough year results-wise but I’ve enjoyed it, the team spirit has been great and I love riding for Sheffield.
“It’s up to Neil Machin, David Hoggart and Nigel Hinchliffe ultimately but if they offer me a place I would take it.”
Hall had a mixed weekend, on Saturday he qualified for the 2013 Longtrack Grand Prix series and then rushed back for a rain-off in Sunday’s Premier League Riders’ Championship, something he believes could have been avoided.
“If we carried on we could have got a result, it got quite heavy but the rain eased off.”
