Jack Lee says Sheffield are facing their toughest test yet when they head to Newcastle in League Cup action tomorrow evening.

Tigers have already secured a precious away win over Scunthorpe which puts them in a great position to qualify from the group.

But the Diamonds are a formidable proposition on their own track and will push Lee’s side to the limit.

“This will be the toughest test of the season so far I reckon,” said manager Lee. “But the lads are looking forward to it. Newcastle is always a hard place to get a result but we have lads who can go well there.”

Sheffield remain unchanged from the side which secured three league points from Plymouth on Thursday.

Newcastle include Swedish ace Ludvig Lindgren who has joined on a full transfer from Birmingham and Steve Worrall was a Premier League winner with Edinburgh last season.

NEWCASTLE: Steve Worrall, Christian Henry, Lewis Kerr, Anton Rosen, Ludvig Lindgren, Simon Nielsen, Lewis Rose.

SHEFFIELD: Simon Stead, Andre Compton, Ashley Birks, Ty Proctor, David Bellego, Josh Bates, Arthur Sissis.
