TIGERS have consulted with their fans over the day of future races after considering a switch from traditional Thursday meetings.
Co-promoter David Hoggart said: “I was at our supporters meeting and some forceful points were made. They are the fans who travel home and away and their opinions matter. They pointed out that a vote, on Facebook, shows only 15% in favour of a change but there are other aspects which have to be taken into consideration, such as the economic climate.
“We are no different to any other track on that score. We will be having discussions with our landlords and then decide which path to take.”
Tigers are holding talks with several riders over next season and could take up the option of American world cup star Ricky Wells.
