Sheffield star Ty Proctor says he is returning to Owlerton tonight with unfinished business.
The Aussie ace endured a torrid 2014, seeing his campaign with the Tigers prematurely ended by injury just as he started to hit top form.
But he has been handed a return to the club and takes his place in the side for tonight’s League Cup tie with Scunthorpe (7.30).
Proctor, who arrives on a modest 6.27, believes the Tigers have a side capable of big things having made a string of exciting signings.
“I feel there are a few things that need to be finished off at Sheffield,” said Proctor.
“It’s a great club that has all the right attributes to be amongst the best clubs in the Premier League, and with the new additions to the team I feel we are definitely heading in the right direction.
“Our team looks really good on paper, logically it should work and I don’t see any reason why it won’t as long as we have some good luck along the way. My last 18 months hasn’t been ideal with injuries, but it’s been quite a different approach for me this year which I am relishing the challenge.
“I know what I’m capable of, the promotion know what I’m capable of, and I feel relaxed in that I don’t need to prove to everyone what I can do.”
Tigers have David Bellego and Arthur Sissis making their debut tonight and there’s a welcome return to Owlerton for Ashley Birks after his winter switch – ironically from Scunthorpe.
Former Sheffield man Josh Auty rides for the Scorpions.
