SHEFFIELD-based diver Monique Gladding is awaiting the results of a neck scan later.
The 31-year old aggravated the long-standing injury shortly before she competed at the Olympic Games. In London, Gladding narrowly missed out on the semi-finals of the 10m platform competition, finishing 19th in the preliminary stage with the top 18 going through.
She said: “I’m in regular consultation with the neurosurgeon and I’m waiting for a second opinion to see what I’ll be able to do. Until then I can’t plan ahead too much.”
