Rotherham’s chances of achieving a massive shock win at Clifton Lane this afternoon against promotion favourites Worcester Warriors have been boosted as the Titans are able to play their first choice centre partnership of Jack Roberts and Chris Harris.

It had been feared that they would be unavailable for Rotherham’s most important Championship game of the season so far, but Roberts and Harris have both passed late fitness tests on a hamstring and finger respectively.

The other change in the Titans’ team sees prop Mark Tampin returning at the expense of Lewis Thiede.

Rotherham’s challenge against Worcester, who are aiming to rejoin the Premiership after one season in the Championship, will be led by second row forward Tom Holmes, who said: “I’m very proud to be captain and, if we can get our skills right against Worcester, we can cause an upset.

“It will be a stern test, but the atmosphere at Clifton Lane will be loud and hostile.”

n Titans: Scanlon, Broadley, Roberts, Harris, Keating, McKinney, White, Hislop, Cruse, Tampin, Morris, Holmes, Birch, Preece, Rieder.

Replacements: Ryan, Williams, Macklin, Parker, J. Davies, A. Davies, Barrett.
