Second rower Dan Sanderson is in contention for a first-team recall for Rotherham Titans ahead of the first leg of their play-off semi-final clash against Bristol.
The 29-year-old is available for selection again, having served a five- week suspension for violent play. Titans travel to Bristol for arguably their biggest match since 2004 a week tomorrow.
And Sanderson is determined to finish his Rotherham career triumphantly before moving to Worcester Warriors.
“My 50th appearance is coming up and I’m desperate to play and it’s a relief to be back,” he said. “You don’t know how much you miss playing when you can’t, but I’m delighted that the team has done so well without me.
“Bristol are the best side technically in the Championship, but they are beatable. We’ve played them three times and scored lots of points against them.
“They play a good brand of rugby but tend to switch off because they’ve won the bonus point. Bristol have spent millions, but Rotherham are going there to win.
“With our backline, we can score points from anywhere and we are going to Bristol with lots of confidence. I like our never-say-die attitude.”
