HEAD coach Alex Codling wants Rotherham Titans to make home advantage count when they entertain Moseley this afternoon in their penultimate Championship match, kick-off 3pm.

Titans are seeking a second successive home victory following their entertaining 41-28 win over Cornish Pirates on Wednesday. Earlier on in the season in Codling’s first match in charge, Titans beat Moseley 20-16 at Billesley Common.

Codling said: “We know Clifton Lane is a tough place for visiting sides to come and we need to make sure we hammer home that advantage.

“We need to show more desperation for the win than they do and that will help hugely in us getting over the line. We want to finish the season off on a positive note for the supporters.”

To cope with the tricky schedule, Codling has reshuffled his pack, making four changes to the team who comprehensively saw off Pirates. Lee Blackett returns to skipper the side at inside centre while Charlie Mulchrone has been recalled at scrum-half.

In the forwards department, Marshall Gadd gets the nod at loose head prop and Latu Makaafi, who has overcome an eye injury, will start at blind side flanker.

Winger Curtis Wilson, on loan from Leeds Carnegie, will remain with the Titans for next season.

*TITANS: Styles, Doneghan, Sheridan, Blackett, Wilson, McKinney, Mulchrone, Gadd, Stagg, Denman, Patrick, Sanderson Makaafi, Ellyatt, Pearce.

Replacements Hannan, Kilbane, Davies, Thomas, Rieder, Nonu, Williams.
