Lennard back to face Bedford

JAMIE Lennard has recovered from a shoulder injury in time to face former club Bedford Blues.

The experienced fly half missed the derby defeat to Rotherham Titans a fortnight ago but is back to bolster Doncaster Knights’ survival bid at Goldington Road this afternoon (3pm).

Knights are currently six points adrift of Jersey at the bottom of the Championship and have just four games left to avoid a return to the National League.

Michael Keating switches to the wing at Bedford, while Connor Braid moves to full back.

Doncaster are also boosted by the return of youngster Tomas Francis who starts at tight-head prop.

Boss Clive Griffiths has told his side to improve their decision-making, or risk the consequences.

“We’ve got to learn how to manage the game when in good positions,” he said.
