Davey makes changes for derby

DIRECTOR of Rugby Brett Davey has made a total of four changes to the side that defeated Moseley last week for this weekend’s crucial Championship derby and Yorkshire Regiment Trophy clash with fierce rivals Rotherham Titans.

The South Yorkshire derby is expected to be a very physical encounter and with that in mind Davey has reshuffled his backs. Strong-running centre James Tincknell returns to midfield alongside Dante Mama, with the versatile Will Simpson taking his place on the bench.

Former Rotherham scrum-half Chris Hallam starts for the second leg of the Yorkshire Regiment Trophy behind a forward pack that shows two changes. Brian McGovern returns to the squad having recovered from illness and Andy Boyde gets the nod for his second start of the season.
