IN National Two North a fine show by Sheffield Tigers saw them come away from Stockport with a win. A Tom Outram penalty on 73 minutes proved to be the difference between the sides for Tigers’ sixth consecutive win.

Wheatley Hills remain top of North East One collecting their seventh win in as many starts with a hard-earned victory away to top-four South Yorkshire rivals Sheffield.

In the Yorkshire Leagues there was a 38-15 victory for Wath Upon Dearne over Barnsley in Division One. In Division Two Doncaster Phoenix won 44-22 at Hullensians and Sheffield Medicals lost at Moortown. Rotherham Phoenix lost 25-17 to Thornesians in Division Three and Mosborough beat Wetherby 36-3 in Division Four. There were wins for Rotherham Clifton and Stocksbridge while Rossington Hornets lost.
