SHEFFIELD Eagles won’t be involved in an ‘mini auction’ with Bradford Bulls for a place in the Super League from next season.

Three Championship clubs may be invited to bid against the Bulls, who were bought out of administration last week.

The RFL has yet to confirm which league the new Bulls will play in next season and a licensing round could be an option.

The three Championship clubs believed to have been lined up are Featherstone Rovers, Halifax and Leigh.
