Have your say

Following on from over three years outstanding work at scholarship level Sheffield Eagles are pleased to announce that Sean Berry has moved up the clubs Youth Performance Pathway and joins the clubs academy environment as assistant coach to Lee Bettinson.

Barnsley based Sean initially joined the Eagles Scholarship programme after cutting his coaching teeth at local club Hoyland Vikings working under Eagles club captain Mitchell Stringer. Since then Sean has developed significantly and has added considerable value to the Eagles Scholarship programme. Speaking on this appointment Eagles Community & Performance Manager Darren Higgins added ‘Sean is valuable member of the Youth Performance coaching team and has been working specifically with the Scholarship over the last three years. Over recent weeks Sean has been assisting with academy sessions and has handled the step up extremely well. Sean is very much a valued member of the youth performance coaching team and will no doubt continue to develop working in the academy environment.
