Sheffield Eagles are motivated and ready for a final frantic four-game run to the end of the league season.
Mark Aston’s side must hold their nerve if they are to stay ahead of the chasing pack to take their first-ever Championship shield.
“We have shown we can keep going,” said the coach. “We have four games in two weeks coming up. We will have had nine days off to prepare for the Dewsbury game and we’ll use it.”
Three of those games are away from home including a possible title decider at second-placed Featherstone Rovers in the final week of the season. The run-in starts with a trip to Dewsbury Rams on Sunday with the final home league game to be played at Don Valley Stadium against Hunslet the following Thursday.
