Rugby League: Dons bidding to bounce back

DONCASTER will be looking to get back on track in Championship One in Sunday’s clash at struggling Oldham.

“We’ve only lost three games this season but on every occasion we’ve bounced back the following week and I’m hoping that will be the same on Sunday,” said Dons’ boss Tony Miller.

The second-placed Dons, who title hopes were severely dented by last weekend’s 25-18 defeat at fourth-placed Whitehaven, have lost both games since Oldham moved to their new home at the Whitebank Stadium.

“With it being a narrow pitch it is likely to be a tighter game with fewer chances so we’ve got to be more clinical than we were at Whitehaven, where we bombed several good chances in the first 30 minutes, in certain areas of the pitch,” said Miller.
