On-song Dons good enough for X-Factor

Have your say

WE visited London Skolars, who really took the game to us in the first 30 minutes or so, on Sunday.

But once again our fitness levels proved too much for them and we ran out 42-22 winners, so well done to the lads,

Their hard work at training is now paying off and if they keep working hard they will get their rewards

But they will need to remember you are only as good as your last game.

I just want to let you our fans know that the team spirit we have here at the Dons is one of the best I have ever known.

The lads all get on and they have a fantastic team song which we haven’t had down here for years.

On the team coach coming back from London it was like being at the O2 Arena led by big Jamie Bovill as MC on the mic at the front of the bus.

All the players had to sing a song individually and let me tell you we have some very talented boys who would put them on the X-Factor to shame.

It is things like this that will hold us in good stead when the going gets tough.

I would like to thank everyone who made the Pike River Day a really enjoyable day, when a great atmosphere was topped off by a good display on the field by the lads.

Last of all I would like to thank all the fans who went to London and came to the Pike River game. Boy, you made some noise! I know the players really appreciated it and it drove them on for the comfortable victory.

You are going to have to get down to the Keepmoat on Sunday for Sunday’s home game against Workington Town. It is going to be a very hard game and you could just be the difference.
