Dons chief executive Carl Hall says the club have nothing to fear ahead of their trip to Featherstone Rovers.

Paul Cooke’s men head into the crunch Championship tie on the back of a controlled 22-10 win over Barrow Raiders.

Rovers, a side Doncaster beat 22-16 back in March, provide a stern test this Sunday as they sit in second spot with Cooke’s outfit breathing down their necks in third.

But Hall insists the Dons have no fear ahead of this weekend’s clash.

“We can go there with some confidence, but we can also go there knowing that they have made statements that they are not going to lose for the rest of the year,” he said.

“We will go there and enjoy ourselves, we are not supposed to win according to them so we will see what comes of that.

“They have had a big change of personnel, so you never know what can happen, have they gelled yet? Or not? We don’t know.

“Doncaster Rugby League are a team and we will go there and give a good account of ourselves and get stuck into them. We don’t fear anybody.

“We are looking forward to it, they are the big boys going for the top two, so we will see what happens.”

Hall was also pleased with the Dons’ win over Barrow Raiders - the side’s third successive victory.

He added: “It was certainly a game I was worried about because it is a tough place to go.

“The game was 6-10 right up until 70 minutes, we had to hang in there, but I thought we controlled the game from start to finish.”

Matt Carbutt has been included in the Kingstone Press Championship team of the week following his fine performance against Barrow Raiders last weekend.
