Is Robson the man to get Blades back to top flight?

With substantially the same squad at Sheffield United as we had last season, questions have to be asked as to why there is now a lack of belief in the team, and a lack of passion, which the previous manager could inspire.

How often did we see a rather ragged team in the first half come out as inspired men, playing to win, after the half time team talk.

This season we have seen heads go down, something unheard of for many seasons.

If the manager thinks that some of the players are not as good as he thought they were, then these words will certainly not inspire them!

At Sheffield United we have been used to getting on with the squad we can afford, and forging wins out of pure doggedness.

It may be better in the long run if we play more attractive foorball, but will it get us back to the Premiership?

Time indeed for this when we are nearer there. At present we need to battle ourselves back into contention.

Is the manager not as good as we were told he would be?
